I’ve just hit the 100,000 word mark (which is about 400 pages of jokes), for the newest Dragon Removal book, A Magical School for Magical Fools. I’m knee deep in the final fight scene and the words are just flying out. This is surprising, considering that last week I could not think of a proper ending for the book. I felt as if “I am such a long way in, I see no way through” if I may borrow a poetic phrase from Rilke.
Way to go brain! You did know the ending after all. I’d give you a pat on the back, but of course, you don’t have the proper anatomy.
